CHRISTMAS 2021With my
bride's continued health
issues this Christmas season, I only put up our Christmas tree in the
living room that consists of three sections with small multicolored lights
pre-installed. We had our youngest Grandson,
Xander McKnight
Gonzales decorate the tree under my bride's supervision, grin if you must!
I brought up from the basement a couple large totes
and smaller boxes with Christmas decor for the upstairs, and my bride decorated
the living room mantel and living room with my help. In the past, we decorated most
of the upstairs plus the
yards and had Christmas Street
Block
Parties.
We elected to do a Christmas dinner (party) on Christmas Eve around
1ish instead of a finger food party at evening aka Supper; yes, I am old
school; e.g., Breakfast, Dinner and Supper!
JESUS IS THE REASON FOR EVERY SEASON
With all the commercialization of our CHRISTMAS Holiday and so many
attempting to get on the Political Correctness Band Wagon of not
wishing to offend anyone and to me, they have no backbone and don't stand for
anything that really matters and mere puppets; "Pull my little strings and
I'll do anything." Without Jesus Christ our Lord and
Savior, there would be no Christmas since
Jesus is
the Reason for the Season and every season! Whatever your personal
Faith and Religion are, it is your choice and right; I choose to be a
Christian!
CHRISTMAS 2021 & COVID-19
This Christmas Holiday with the Coronavirus (COVID-19) still in full swing and
increasing in intensity, our Demoncratic
Governor has restrictions to limit gatherings which has eased off
which will no doubt help, however the idiots
that do not follow personal safety precautions as recommended by CDC
(Center For Disease Control And Prevention) that are out in the general
public, it is no wonder the Coronavirus continues to rapidly spread.
It is my humble opinion that God has allowed this pestilence
to wake up America
to get back on a spiritual track, but I personally don't see it happening.
Morally, America has passed the point of no return with the ungodly agendas
that are allowed and promoted such as the murder of innocent unborn babies
(abortion), homosexual marriages, etc., which is an abomination and sin in the sight of God!
Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior is the only answer for the survival of America
and not the "hot air" politicians
of both parties in our Local, State and Federal Government!

STUPACRATS
If our Lord tarries long enough and the current 2021
"Stupacrats" in Washington, DC consisting of both
Demoncrats
and Republicans continue to erode our democracy, America might end up
speaking Chinese and have to shoot a
slingshot for hunting and self-defense.

CHRISTMAS INSIDE DECOR
We put out only a minimal amount of decor and as stated, due to my
Bride's health issues, we gave our friends Linda and Jack Driggers of
Cheraw, SC the majority of our yard decor, etc. sans tree lights of
which they did not need.
The Christmas "rats" are favorites of Miss Lily.
It is very evident that my Bride loves Snowmen!
CHRISTMAS EVE
PARTY
This year we decided to have our Christmas Eve Party and gift
swapping around 1ish since our only Grand Daughter Lily Danielle
Gonzales doesn't like to be out at night.
Our immediate family attended plus Shane Hough and we enjoyed some good
food and fellowship.
ISLAND WORK STATION
My bad on the pix; I had the ISO setting too high on the camera and
the flash washed out the colors.
Our menu consisted of deep fried turkey, cornbread dressing, giblet
gravy, green bean casserole, sweet potato soufflé, black eyed peas,
deviled eggs, Hawaiian rolls, cranberry sauce and party mix.
Attending were: Joyce Porter aka my bride, Bill Porter, Laura
Porter, Travis & Trevor Huneycutt, Shane Hough, Lisa, Xander and Lily
Gonzales.

My bride and myself did the
Deviled Eggs the afternoon before
Christmas Eve and refrigerated them.
Luck's black eyed peas are hard to beat with some bacon renderings and
onions added.
Lisa Gonzales made the
Sweet Potato Soufflé
Everyone gathered around the workstation, joined hands and Miss Lily
said our blessing; "God Thank You For This Food, Amen" and I then said a
blessing Thanking God through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior for his
many blessing and allowing us another year to celebrate Christmas and
that Jesus was the Reason for each and every Season and to bless the
food to the nourishment of our bodies.

GIFT UNWRAPPING
Miss Lily really enjoyed the raccoon!
It didn't take long before wrapping paper and presents were everywhere!
In closing, everyone had a great time and watching Miss Lily tearing
into her packages was a real treat.
The Grand Boys received folding money which they prefer and makes
Christmas shopping for them very easy.
"Two of the Greatest Ships that ever sailed,
Friendship and Fellowship" and family and friends make life
worthwhile keeping God foremost in our lives.
I give God through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, the Praise, Honor
and Glory in all things!
