CHRISTMAS 2022With my
bride's continued health
issues this Christmas season, I only put up our Christmas tree in the
living room that consists of three sections with small multicolored lights
pre-installed. We had our youngest Grandson,
Xander McKnight
Gonzales decorate the tree under my bride's supervision, grin if you must!
I brought up from the basement a couple large totes
and smaller boxes with Christmas decor for the upstairs, and my bride decorated
the living room mantel and living room with my help. In the past, we decorated most
of the upstairs plus the
yards and had Christmas Street
Block
Parties.
We elected to do a Christmas dinner (party) on Christmas Eve around
1ish instead of a finger food party at evening aka Supper; yes, I am old
school; e.g., Breakfast, Dinner and Supper!
NOTE: Due to myself having the flu, had to cancel our
Christmas Eve party until December 31, 2022 at 1 PM.
JESUS IS THE REASON FOR EVERY SEASON
With all the commercialization of our CHRISTMAS Holiday and so many
attempting to get on the Political Correctness Band Wagon of not
wishing to offend anyone and to me, they have no backbone and don't stand for
anything that really matters and mere puppets; "Pull my little strings and
I'll do anything." Without Jesus Christ our Lord and
Savior, there would be no Christmas since
Jesus is
the Reason for the Season and every season! Whatever your personal
Faith and Religion are, it is your choice and right; I choose to be a
Christian!
CHRISTMAS 2022 & COVID-19
It is my humble opinion that God has allowed this pestilence
to wake up America
to get back on a spiritual track, but I personally don't see it happening.
Morally, America has passed the point of no return with the ungodly agendas
that are allowed and promoted such as the murder of innocent unborn babies
(abortion), homosexual marriages, etc., which is an abomination and sin in the sight of God!
Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior is the only answer for the survival of America
and not the "hot air" politicians
of both parties in our Local, State and Federal Government!

STUPACRATS
If our Lord tarries long enough and the current 2022
"Stupacrats" in Washington, DC consisting of both
Demoncrats
and Republicans continue to erode our democracy, America might end up
speaking Chinese and have to shoot a
slingshot for hunting and self-defense.

CHRISTMAS INSIDE DECOR
We put out only a minimal amount of decor and as stated, due to my
Bride's health issues, we gave our friends Linda and Jack Driggers of
Cheraw, SC the majority of our yard decor last year, etc. sans tree lights of
which they did not need.
This year I am using my
Obamaphone Galaxy A13 instead of my Canon 30D and 60D 35MM DSLR
camera, however the quality of the pix is very lacking and plan to
upgrade to a better cell aka
Obamaphone in the future. I( did edit the pixs using
Photoshop CS2 which helped a lot!
ISLAND WORK STATION
Our island work station gets a serious workout come holidays and my
bride and myself use the bar stools for our meals instead of going to
the dining room table.
Our menu consisted of oven bake ham, green beans and potatoes,
cranberry chutney, yellow corn, green lima beans, potato salad, deviled
eggs, sausage balls, party mix, mixed fruit bowl, cake and dinner rolls.
No one wanted ice cream with their cake!
Lisa was planning on bringing a sweet potato soufflé, but somehow
dish washing detergent got mixed in with the sweet potatoes; Lily denied
doing that...........grin if you must!:

OPENING PRESENTS
In closing, everyone had a great time and watching Miss Lily tearing
into her packages was a real treat.
The Grand Boys received folding money which they prefer and makes
Christmas shopping for them very easy. However, I had each of them a
custom figured walnut turkey box call for a heirloom gift.
"Two of the Greatest Ships that ever sailed,
Friendship and Fellowship" and family and friends make life
worthwhile keeping God foremost in our lives.
I give God through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, the Praise, Honor
and Glory in all things!
