SAUSAGE BALLS

INGREDIENTS:

1 lb. hot sausage       4 cups New York Extra Sharp Cheddar Cheese, grated
3 1/2 cups Bisquick

Mix all ingredients together at room temperature.  Don't be afraid to use your hands.  Form into 1 inch diameter balls.  Bake at 375 degrees on un-greased cookie sheet 15 to 20 minutes; 17 minutes for our oven.

YIELD: 100 or more depending on the size you form them into.  About 72 in my case.

Above sausage balls baked on 12-23-13 and were delicious.  This batch yielded 154 total.  About the only time we make them is during the Christmas Holidays.  Below pix of them ready to enjoy at our Christmas Eve Finger Food Party:

Recipe from Joyce Ann Porter

Note: The kids and myself, loved to snack on these sausage balls during the holidays.  They are good any time of the year though.
