TWEET'S RUSSIAN TEA

INGREDIENTS:

1 (46 oz.) can Pineapple juice
40 ozs. Tropicana Season's Best Orange Juice
1/2 cup lemon juice
2 quarts strong tea (2 family size Luzanne tea bags)
3 tablespoons whole cloves in 3 cups water
4 cups sugar

Steep whole cloves in 3 cups of water.  Strain cloves and add clove water and all ingredients into a a larger stock pot and simmer for 30 minutes.

YIELD:  1 1/2 gallons.

Note:  Several decades back, well a few more than that when the kids were very small, my bride experimented with several Russian tea recipes and wanted one that would last through the holidays and this is what she came up with.  Steeping the whole cloves fills the kitchen with an aroma to jump start any Christmas season and holiday!  This makes an outstanding homemade seasonal gift as well.  Nuke cold Russian Tea in a microwave until very hot and it will knock the chill off you and taste and smells wonderful.
