This page will consist of scans of targets fired by myself, Robert Webster and Don Edwards.  Robert Webster and myself are shooting the Savage Mark II BTV and Don Edwards is shooting the CZ USA 452 Trainer model and he laid a "whooping" on us when he first zeroed it in and did some group shooting and 48 yards.  However, that was the best his rifle has shot to date and Robert and I have had to trick our rifles out the best we can in an attempt to equal or surpass Don's rifle performance.  Don hasn't done a thing to his CZ but shoot it and it does have a much heavier machined receiver with screw in barrel and a much better stock fit than the Savage Mark II.

CZ USA 452 TRAINER VS SAVAGE MARK II 04-05-14 @ 40 YDS

Below a few cell phone pixs that Robert sent me this afternoon of some of their shooting at 40 yards and it was very windy.  The target is 15/16 inch in diameter:

CZ USA 452 TRAINER VS SAVAGE MARK II 04-05-14 @ 75 YDS

Robert used Bulk Winchester ammo 36 grains and Don used Remington Thunderbolt 40 grain ammo and both are just run of the mill low priced ammunition.  Both have shot much tighter groups at 50 yards before but today, the CZ rifle took a good butt whooping for sure especially at 75 yards!

We have seen all kind of stuff on the internet threads about the accuracy of the CZ USA which is legendary but there are very few actual targets posted with the results.  The ole cliché, "A picture is worth a thousands words" and the pixs speaks for themselves.  Both shooters are pretty much equal in their shooting ability!  There is one major flaw in the stock on the CZ Trainer, it has entirely too much drop in the stock to allow you to place your cheek on the stock and look directly through the scope.
