MARINATED TURKEY

INGREDIENTS:

1 whole turkey breast
2 cups 7-Up, Sprite or Mellow Yellow
1 cup vegetable oil
1 cup soy sauce (Kikkoman)
Garlic salt (optional)

Remove all skin and bone from the turkey breast.  Slice turkey breast with the grain about 3/8 inch thick and the size of your hand.  Mix the marinade in a plastic or stainless steel container; add turkey, cover and marinate in refrigerator at least 8 hours or up to 48 hours.  The longer it marinates, the less cooking time it will take.  Every few hours, remove container from refrigerator and stir and/or shake the turkey/marinate around to evenly distribute the marinate.

Grill marinated turkey slices on hot grill about 10 minutes each side; turn and grill the other side about 10 minutes until meat is white
all the way through and juices run clear.  Remove from grill and serve immediately with your favorite sides.

This recipe is from the Adcock Traditions Cookbook and the original recipe was distributed by Cuddy Farms that raised and
processed turkeys.  Plants in Marshville and Wingate, NC have been purchased by Pilgrims Pride if memory is correct.

Will post sequence pixs at a later date.

Below is the original recipe card that Cuddy Farms gave out:
