MARCH 2017 SNOW
Our weather prophets aka prognosticators
finally got the weather forecast fairly accurate for March 12, 2017.
They forecast less than an inch of snow for the Anson County, NC area,
however it appears that we have gotten at least three inches of snowfall so
far.
With the clock moved forward one hour, I stayed in bed until around 7:00
A.M. this morning which would normally have been 6:00 A.M. and about my
normal get up time, although it varies much earlier many mornings. With
retirement, I should be able to sleep in, but getting up early most of my
working career, that built in internal clock doesn't appear to be changing
anytime soon, since I am enjoying my fifth (5th) year of
retirement........grin if you must!
About twenty minutes ago being 11:16 A. M., I got the ole Canon 35mm DSLR
camera out to document the light snowfall of which we have been overdue for
snow this year. I believe we got a light dusting of snow this year and
that has been about it as for snowfall.Below are pixs taken around our
home and the road and driveway is free of ice which is a good thing.
Our morning Church services at the Wadesboro Church of God was cancelled by
Pastor Sam Abee due to the weather and we will have our regular evening
service today.
Below pix of the snow on our mailbox. I am using one of the
tree stands that I manufactured for deer
hunters as a platform aka base for the mailbox. The ole cedar tree
support pole is hanging in there after twenty-seven (27) years of service.
The mailbox has been replaced at least one time.

CLOSING ON A SPIRITUAL NOTE
It is a good day to be inside getting some Bible reading in. I am
currently reading in
Deuteronomy, the fifth book written by
Moses. One thing is for certain, the people of Israel in the Bible
were one stiff-necked and stubborn race of people of whom God has chastised
their entire history for being disobedient, but they are his chosen people.
The Nation of Israel will be left standing when the rest have fallen which
is prophesied in the Book of Revelation, King James Version Bible. The
people of
Palestine and surrounding Nations should definitely read the
Bible concerning the
promised land that was
given to Abram later named Abraham by a
covenant made by God to Abram and all his descendants.
Only if one is
born again, accepting Jesus Christ as their
personal savior, will he or she not have to worry about what takes place
after the
rapture.
