CLAM DIP

INGREDIENTS:

8 oz. minced clams                8 oz. cream cheese
4 spring onions, chopped     1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 cup mayonnaise                  Texas Pete (to taste) and is optional

Mix softened cream cheese with mayonnaise.  Hold juices from minced clams since you may need small amount with cream cheese and mayonnaise to get the right consistency.  Add clams, Worcestershire, onions and mix well.  Chill in refrigerator overnight and serve with chips of your choice.

YIELD:  2 cups

Below clam dip prepared on 11-08-15; I doubled up on the amount of clams for this batch:

My Paprika dispenser has humongous holes in it as evidenced by the pix above........grin if you must!

Below clam dip prepared way back when.

This is a very easy dip to prepare. Green onions with tops is a must for this recipe.  Used 6 good droplets of Hot Sauce!

Clam dip mixed and ready to refrigerate overnight (covered) until ready to serve.

Recipe from Boyce Adcock, Adcock Family Traditions Cookbook 1997.
