CHICAGO APPLE SUNDAE

INGREDIENTS:

1 Apple, cored (your choice)
1 scoop Vanilla ice cream
Caramel topping
Chopped peanuts

Core apple using coring tool and keep the lower portion of the apple peeling attached.  Remove the apple from coring tool, remove the core and place the apple in a bowl and spread apple "petals" apart.  Place one scoop of ice cream of your choice in the center of the apple and drizzle on caramel topping and add nuts of your choice.

YIELD: 1 sundae

Above apple sundae recipe given to me by our niece Tammy Smit of Illinois.  I didn't do a sequence pix since only four ingredients used.....grin if you must!  Below pix of the apple coring tool made of stainless steel and works real well.
